Potato Head Beach Club
One of the trendiest and busiest spots in Seminyak, Potato Head Beach Club is a great place to go if you are looking to party in Seminyak. It has gained an international reputation for great drinks, food, and lots of fun. Its lawn goes right up to the beach and you won’t be far from many other great Seminyak venues. Potato Head is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and is located on Jalan Petitenget next to W Retreat.
Khaima Moroccan Restaurant, Lounge and Bar
Generally referred to as Khaima, this restaurant and bar serves Moroccan dishes and is quite atmospheric. The menu includes some of the best traditional Moroccan specialties including lamb and couscous, along with other meat and vegetarian dishes. Khaima is dedicated to making wonderful Moroccan food, even importing many of the ingredients directly from that country. To complete the picture, hookah is available in a number of flavors. Khaima is located on Jalan Laksmana Oberoi and is open from 11 a.m. to midnight.
Lotus Grill is a great casual restaurant that serves many different dishes, including seafood, Italian cuisine (pizza is especially popular), Asian favorites, and sandwiches. Open for casual lunches and hearty dinners, Lotus Grill is suitable to all kinds of occasions and groups, including families. It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is located on Jalan Laksmana.
Warung Bale Bali
Warung Bale Bali serves great Chinese and Asian dishes in a casual but nicely decorated setting. There is even a small Javanese garden. Located on Jalan Kunti, this small restaurants is perfect for sampling some Asian dishes and even enjoying some jazz music on Mondays. It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Hu’u Bar & Grill
The Hu’u Bar and Grill is a popular bar and restaurant that is divided into four large areas. At Hu’u, there is a large dining room, a restaurant, the bar area, and a great garden area complete with a pool. Part of the Hu’u brand, this bar is a great place to have fun on Jalan Petitenget. The restaurant offers full meals, so it is suitable for both drinks and dining.
Biku Restaurant is an interesting dining spot that is not just a restaurant but also a book and antique store, and even a tea lounge. Located on Jalan Raya Petitenget in a nineteenth century building, Biku serves good Balinese and Indonesian foods as well as a selection of desserts. It is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The Plumbers Arms
The Plumbers Arms is an excellent place to go if you are looking for a pub experience in Seminyak. Traditional pub food is served along with beers and many other drinks. In addition to English favorites, The Plumbers Arms serves various western dishes as well as seafood and desserts. Check out the roasts on Sundays. The pub is just north of Seminyak in Kerbokan. It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
