The tropical beauty of Bali wouldn’t be complete without its fine waterfalls. There are cool rushing waters as well as lovely hot springs around the island.
Daybreak Waterfall is best seen in the wet season, when it cascades down to form a fine pool for swimming below. Also known as Air Terjun Singsing, the fall is a little over thirty miles from Lovina Beach. Be aware that during the dry season the waterfall can be drastically smaller.
The Blahmantung Waterfalls in Pupuan are ideal. These falls rush over the edge from more than one hundred meters above the ground. It takes a bit of a walk to get up to this area, but it is more than worth it to see these powerful falls.
Yeh Sanih Springs
The freshwater springs of Yeh Sanih are lovely, clear pools of water that are great for a quick dip or for swimming. Located in a beautiful setting, these springs can be visited from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Gitgit Waterfalls are some of the best in Bali. About forty meters in height, these falls become a fine swimming pool down below where visitors like to cool off in the deep waters here. The Gitgit Falls are located in northern Bali about six miles south of Singaraja.
Banjar Hot Springs
These healing hot springs will relax your body and perhaps your mind as well. A Buddhist monastery is not far away from the Banjar Hot Springs (Air Panas Banjar), which can be found in the northern part of the island a few miles to the southwest of the Lovina coast.
